THIS JUST IN: Zumba Fitness and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Team Up for Breast Cancer Awareness

Zumba Party in Pink Racerback

Fresh from the Zumba Headquarters monthly newsletter! Zumba lovers around the world are taking action when it comes to finding a cure for breast cancer. Together with the Zumba Home Office and Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, Zumba Instructor Network Members (like me) are actively getting involved in the fight to end breast cancer.

Party in Pink™ Zumbathon

Starting July 2010, Party in Pink will have its own microsite on zumba.com where ZIN Members can sign up to host Party in Pink™ Zumbathon®  Charity Events with 75% of the proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure®

Zumba Party in Pink™ Racerback

In addition, the site will link to the zumba.com shop where anyone can purchase a Zumba Party in Pink™ Racerback (now available for purchase) with 30% of the proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.

Pink Blog

The site will include a very special "pink blog" where breast cancer survivors and anyone affected by breast cancer can share their story, reaching out to others through words, and even changing lives with their message.

This site and all Party in Pink efforts will continue through October 31, 2010 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Let’s join the Party in Pink movement and support breast cancer awareness with all the Zumba love and support we have to give!

Zumba Halifax Hosting Party in Pink™ Zumbathon®

So what do you say!? Let's rally to create a crowd to come out to a Party in Pink™ Zumbathon® hosted by Zumba Halifax.

I'm going to start looking at locations and dates for some time in September. Have any venue or date suggestions? Let me know!

Once I have access to the the Party in Pink™ microsite, I'll find out more details and share them with you. Until then, please help me build some buzz and send me your suggestions!

What They're Saying...

Hooked on Zumba!

Like many people, I was hooked on Zumba after just one class. I walked out of the class, sweat pouring down, with a big smile on my face. The Latin-inspired dance fitness class really did feel more like a party than a workout, and I was immediately hooked.
