Born with the song "Put On Your Dancing Shoes" playing in the background on the radio, I started taking dance lessons at the age of three, studying ballet, jazz and modern dance up until my first year university, when I discovered group exercise classes such as "boxercise" and aerobics, as well as Ashtanga and power and flow yoga.
As a mother of three young children (infant twins and a toddler) Zumba® has been fun and energizing way for me to stay in shape and meet new people.
I love teaching Zumba® classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party!
Come join me and you'll see what I mean. You don't even have to know how to dance. Just move your body and follow my lead. It's easy! Currently, I'm licensed to teach. Inspiring & Energizing
Zumba has re-inspired and re-energized my health and weight loss journey! Although it's an intense workout (because your body is constantly in motion), you don’t really notice that you’re exercising because it’s so much fun! The music is upbeat, the routines are challenging and entertaining, and it’s a great way to meet people with similar fitness ambitions. It helps to have a lively and creative instructor too (like Johneen!). Zumba pushes my endurance to new limits, and I’m always amazed at what I accomplish in the class.
